Balamara Preschool is located on the border of Wahroonga and Waitara, opposite Waitara Public School.

 

Our playground is shaded by Turpentine Gums that once formed a part of the original Turpentine forests of this area where the Darug and Guringai people, the traditional custodians of this area once lived. Our outdoor environment is a valuable learning space , where the children engage in rich learning experiences that foster development in all of their learning areas.

 

Our indoor environment is a reflection of our philosophy. Our use of natural materials and soft elements like rugs, cushions, plants and baskets, and the thoughtful presentation of learning experiences contribute to an inviting and engaging space.
